Andy Warhol Background Andy Warhol was a famous pop fraudist in the sixties. He is usually referred to as the prince of pop. Warhol was a homosexual who ofttimes wore wigs and was fixture with fame and fortune. Even though he was an odd individual, it didnt anticipate to affect his popularity. Andy Warhol was born on August 6, 1928 in Pittsburg as Andrew Warhola. He was born to Slovak immigrants. Andy studied mercenary guile at the Carnegie Institute of Technology and graduated in 1949. After graduating, he moved to New York and worked as a magazine illustrator and for commercial advertising.[1] Andys major influences were advertising, popular culture, and design[2]. In the seventies and eighties, Warhol began to submit his works in popular museums and galleries. His famous works overmaster Campbells Soup, Gold Marilyn Monroe, Elvis, and The Last Supper[3].
